Hello friends The Parent and Teacher Resource was posted to the site on Friday 13th. The goal of this resource is to encourage teachers and parents to teach their children to knit, why it is so important to learn to give and all about the AIDS orphan crisis in Africa. It is a 36 page book which includes history of knitting, how to knit and all about the AIDS crisis, and a whole lot more. As I am not a teacher I would welcome anyone who is, contacting me to discuss what may be really important in a school environment. We need to engage school children if, in the long term, we are to succeed at providing blankets (and hats and vests) for all these children. It is up for sale at $17.95 (US). Knit-a-square will have a few products up (Zanny's Heritage Blanket and also her 'All Things Square' Knitting Pattern Art Book), in coming weeks, as the work we do needs to be partly funded to help contribute to the on ground costs. Look forward to your comments - especially about the promotion page on the site: www.knit-a-square.com/teacher-resource.htmlThanks everyone, Sandy
