I love the hearts.
A woman gave me a bag of yarn about a week ago, and in it she included a rather hideous pink scarf to unravel. The yarn is too thin to be used on its own, so I decided to sew little hearts onto some of my squares just like you did to use up the yarn.

What a superb idea about the hearts! I think I'll add one to the corner of the next crochet top I send out. And what a cute little dog. Awwwww. Thanks so much for sharing Tina. Gerda sure has the right idea. One can take squares or wool plus needles or a hook, anywhere, waiting for a doctor's appointment, sitting in the car waiting to pick up the kids after school, while talking on the phone, etc. I find if I crochet during commercials I get a lot done on a square while watching tv in the evenings.
