Hi gals. In looking over the page for Ten Thousand Homes, the page with the list of children needing items, I see you say something like "just get in touch with us here". I was wondering if right next to that phrase you could put the link you wish us to use to contact you? I wasn't sure who I should contact or how. Thanks! Also I saw on another page that the first need for these children is hats and vests and THEN blankets. Is that right? Just wondering as the blankets list is first on the page. Thanks again for any clarity given.

Thanks again for any clarity given. Hi Jeanne, I will put a link in as you suggest, that makes sense, thanks for pointing it out. Also with regards to the blankets, I will change that now. I wasn't sure at the time what commitments Ronda and the SCC ladies had to various communities in Soweto first and didn't want to disappoint anyone's expectations. As it turns out, and wisely, they are going to distribute the blankets to small communities in turn within Soweto, to avoid any issues. So they we can now supply blankets to Ten Thousand Homes too. Just investigating a whole range of small charities servicing small groups of children, one called Jabulani who looks after 35 street children. It is appealing to work for small achievable projects within the bigger project. More about this in the next ezine - end April. Sandy

Sandy I agree wholeheartedly. I want to help the millions but the smaller charities are all so VERY deserving and every one we help makes a difference. I think it's wonderful to post the 10,000 Homes charity and Jabulani sounds like one we could also help with. I hope to hear more about it. As you say, we can do some for each and feel at peace that we are helping, each in our own small ways. Thank you for the link as I do want to start a project for one of the 10,000 homes kids, maybe a hat or such. And street kids really tug at me, so I'm hoping to help Jabulani too. Bless you for caring so much!
