i am doing my squares for charity I was thinking of do a square and continue with next coulourmand do around 6 rows and then change colour and see how it turns out Has anyone done that?

I think colour changes are a super idea. It gives the kids visual interest and changing after 6 rounds on a square makes the square look like it's got a nice border. It really works if you've got just abit of a nice yarn leftover, not enough to do a full square with...you can add a row or round in that colour, using it up and it can really pop against a contrasting colour, or complement the first color nicely.
